Bogra Regional Office and Warehouse inaugurated
As part of the decentralization strategy, SMC has planned to set up four Regional Offices and warehouses across the country. Each Regional Office will oversee the operations of three existing SMC Area Offices and have a Regional Manager in charge. In line with this strategy, Chairman of the SMC Board of Directors Mr. Muhammed Ali inaugurated the recently constructed office building in Bogra on December 2, 2015. It houses both the Bogra Area Office and the Regional Office-North, which is overseeing the sales and promotional activities of the Bogra, Rajshahi and Rangpur Area Offices. In addition, the Bogra regional warehouse has been built adjacent to the new office building. Managing Director of SMC Enterprise Ltd, Md. Ali Reza Khan, General Manager, Engineering, Mr. Masum Ahmed Jaigirdar, General Manager, Sales and Field Promotion of SMC Enterprise Ltd, Mr. Sayedur Rahman along with the Area Managers of Bogra, Rajshahi and Rangpur were present at the inaugural ceremony.
