USAID/Nepal team visits SMC
A nine-member team from USAID/Nepal and Contraceptive Retail Sales (CRS) Project, Nepal visited SMC to observe program operations and sustainability efforts of the company in January 2016 with a further objective of replicating similar initiatives in Nepal. The team made a visit to the ORS factory and the Central Warehouse in Bhaluka, Mymensingh. They met and talked to a number of health service providers under the Blue Star and LARC networks and visited community mobilization program under the Notun Din, MIH Project. On February 3, 2016, USAID-Nepal team visited PSTC’s MIH-Notun Din project area at Monohordi Upazila, Narsingdi District. They were accompanied by officials from USAID-Bangladesh, SMC and PSTC’s MIH project.
