SMC along with its subsidiary, SMC EL have always been very proactive and focused about the development of their human resources in every aspect. As a part of this approach, the HR departments have organized different training programs in the last quarter. 

On August 21-22, 2023, SMC EL organized the training on ‘Lean Manufacturing' at Bhaluka Factory participated by 30 employees. The main objective of this initiative was to reduce process lead time and operating costs and improve product quality in the factory. SMC EL also organized the ‘Art of Efficient Pharmaceutical Sales' training on September 15-16, 2023 at SMC Head Office. A total of 34 Medical Information Officers (MIOs) took part in the training program. The aim was to upscale the capacity of MIOs on effective selling steps, post call analysis, understanding type of customer objection and techniques of communicating doctors. The HR department of SMC organized a ‘Skill Development Training' for its graded staff on September 23, 2023 at SMC Head Office. 

The main objective was to improve the overall performance of the staff through educating them about the basic manners and etiquettes.
