SMC conducted a special campaign during January 22-23, 2023 to increase the FullCare brand awareness highlighting its key features and benefits targeting the chemists across the country. In order to observe the campaign and inspire the field forces, GM Sales, Addl GM, Program Operations, Head of Regions and other officials visited different network and non-network outlets during the campaign. It is to be noted that SMC introduced FullCare for pregnant women in 2021 for the first time in Bangladesh. FullCare contains 15 micronutrients recommended for use during pregnancy to reduce Low Birth Weight and pre-term birth. FullCare has been endorsed by the leaders of OGSB (Obstetricians and Gynaecological Society of Bangladesh) for its effectiveness and efficacy. This 2-day long campaign was jointly implemented by the field forces of SMC and SMC EL. The field forces visited the traders in person and briefed them about the benefits of FullCare and ensured product distribution as well. During the two-day long campaign, about 0.40 million blisters of FullCare were sold covering 7,048 network and non-network outlets. As part of building awareness among the adolescent girls in the country about the health and hygiene management, SMC EL organized two events in Tangail on March 02, 2023. The first event was held at Rezia Samad Academy, Silimpur, Delduar, Tangail, to promote the nutrition awareness. A total of 300 students and 100 mothers attended the session. SMC's health related products and their benefits were demonstrated in the session and gift hampers comprising SMC products were distributed among all the participants. Later, another awareness program on menstrual hygiene management was organized at M. A. Karim Bohumukhi High School, Silimpur, Delduar, Tangail. A total of 1,300 girl students and 200 mothers attended the session where a graduate doctor discussed different health issues related to menstrual management and answered their queries. The features and benefits of using Joya Sanitary Napkin were also highlighted in the session. All participants were provided with SMC's hygiene products as gifts. Mr. Hussain appreciated the initiative of SMC EL and suggested to continue these efforts for the betterment of the adolescents of the country.
