Program Officer- Rose Star Network, MISHD Project

Social Marketing Company, a large well-reputed not-for-profit organization involved in the implementation of health and family planning programs wishes to recruit the following professional.   • Job Responsibility :

    • The incumbent will be responsible for the field level implementation of Rose Star program with technical support from Sr. Manager, Training & Quality Assurance to engage pediatricians in offering Growth Monitoring service among under 5 children.
    • S/he will select prospective pediatricians (and their assistants) for basic and refresher training on Growth Monitoring and Promotion (GMP).
    • The incumbent will also work to motivate provider through effective interpersonal communication to generate prescription on Micronutrient Powder (MNP).
    • S/he will address individual providers’ requirement, identify providers’ barriers and provide necessary solutions to make the provider proactive to ensure continuity of services.
    • S/he will also coordinate with the management of child health institutions, Pediatric association and local level government officials as required.
    • S/he will also be engaged to provide on-site coaching for assistants of pediatricians on GMP, record keeping and counseling skills.
    • S/he is required to travel extensively within 15-18 districts under assigned region.
  • Educational Qualification :

  • Four years Graduation/Masters in any discipline

  • Job Requirements :

    • Age maximum 35 year(s)
    • Experience in related field: minimum 2 year(s)
  • Additional Requirements :

    • At least 2 years working experience in Child Health/ Maternal Health program or Pharmaceuticals product sales
    • Excellent communication skill both in Bangla and English
    • Excellent Inter Personal Communication (IPC) skills, Good facilitation and Presentation skills
    • Excellent knowledge on MS office application
    • Excellent Product detailing, counseling and Program documentation skills
    • Experiences to design and develop network of the private health professionals
    • Experiences to work with private sector will be highly preferred
    • Four years Graduation/Masters in any discipline, preferably in Business Studies/Social Science
    • Maximum age 35 years, but may be relaxed for the deserving candidates
    • Must have a valid motorcycle driving license
