To keep employees abreast of up-to-date technology and prepare them to face the challenges in the growing hi-tech environment in a competitive business world, SMC arranges refresher training programs for its staff at certain intervals. MIS & IT department of SMC has facilitated one such training at a local hotel on September 4, 2014. The training curriculum was designed to help trainees gain MIS and IT knowledge and skills and enhance their productivity. 14 IT executives and officers from SMC areas offices participated in the training program and learned about analysis of sales data, trouble shooting, data security and backup and updates on existing and upcoming IT systems.

Mr. Md. Ali Reza Khan, Deputy Managing Director, Mr. Shafi Uddin Ahmed FCA, Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Sayedur Rahman, Head of Sales and Mr. Azam S. Chowdhury, Head of HR and Administrative Services of SMC were present at the training session. Mr. Mohammad Giash Uddin, In-Charge, MIS & IT and his team organized the event.
