SMC EL held its Annual Sales Conference 2022 at the Sheraton Dhaka on February 8, 2023. The conference showcased the sales performance of FY 2021-22 and employees of the sales division of SMC EL including all area offices were praised for their successful achievement in the reporting period.

Mr. Waliul Islam, Chairman, Board of Directors, SMC & SMC EL, graced the occasion as the chief guest. Former Chairman of the Director of SMC & SMC EL Board, Mr. Muhammed Ali and Mr. Siddiqur Rahman Choudhury were present as special guests. Among other Directors of SMC and SMC EL Board, Dr. Jahir Uddin Ahmed, Mr. M. Farhad Hussain FCA and the Company MembersMs. Rupali Haque Chowdhury, Professor Dr. Sameena Chowdhury, Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed and Mr. Ranjit Kumar Chakraborty joined the sales conference program.

Mr. C N Mandal,GM, Sales presented the sales performance of FY 2021-22. He appreciated the effort of the sales division on their achievement and impressive revenue growth of 16%. He also mentioned that SMC EL is supplying its products to more than seven lakh sixteen thousand retail outlets across the country. Mr. Khandaker Shamim Rahman, GM, Marketing, also highlighted the successful campaigns and strategic achievements in his presentation later. Mr. Md. Anwarul Islam, Senior Sales Manager, received the Grand Gold Award on behalf of his team Kushtia Area Office and Mr. Mohammad Habibur Rahman, Senior Sales Manager received the Grand Silver Award on behalf of his team, Rajshahi Area Office.

Mr. Abdul Haque, Managing Director of SMC Enterprise Ltd. and Mr. Toslim Uddin Khan, Managing Director and CEO of SMC applauded the sales employees for their successful year completion and also encouraged them to uphold their dedication and spirit towards the future endeavors. Finally, the conference ended with a cultural program.
