Social Marketing Company, a large well-reputed not-for-profit company, involved in implementing health and family planning programs throughout the country, wishes to recruit the following position. The company seeks a talented and aspiring candidate who would join our team and meaningfully contribute to reach the goal of SMC. The incumbent will be recruited initially for two years period, which may be extended upon satisfactory performance of the candidate.
1. Prepare and float Tender/RFQ/RFP documents to potential suppliers for the procurement of printing and packaging materials based on assigned purchase requisitions
2. Compile and evaluate received quotations/ offers and conduct the supplier selection process in accordance with the procurement policy
3. Prepare procurement proposals, obtain the necessary approvals and issue purchase orders to selected suppliers as per the approved proposal
4. Follow up with suppliers and ensure the timely and smooth delivery of materials
5. Conduct annual vendor performance evaluations and maintain vendor assessment records
6. Ensure that packaging material designs are updated and reviewed to prevent errors and discrepancies
7. Receive billing-related documents from suppliers, along with GRM and duly signed challans from the store/ warehouse
8. Verify and compile all required documents for payment processing and submission
9. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to collect designs, TSR (Technical Specification Review), GRM, approved samples and other related documents required for procurement activities
10. Perform any other task assigned by the management
Bachelor's/ Master’s degree in any discipline. Candidates having diploma/ PGD or other certification in SCM will be given preference
