SMC Enterprise Ltd has its Pharmaceutical and Food Manufacturing Units for producing Pharma and Food Products complying all regulatory requirements. It provides high-quality, affordable medicines, trusted by healthcare professionals and patients across the country. SMC Bhaluka Factory is about 65 km away in the north of the capital city. This is a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility meeting the requirements of GMP. Bhaluka Factory started its operation in August 2004. Since the inception of operation Bhaluka Factory produced 7375.36 millions of ORSaline-N up to 30th June, 2023.
The mainstream Manufacturing unit at Bhaluka, Mymensingh, is situated over an area of 5.9 acres which houses a number of self contained production units including ORSaline-N, Monimix (Micronutrient, effective in anemia preventive for the Children) in the dosage form of Sachet and Omeprazole, Esomeprazole, Fluconazole, Vitamins and Minerals in the dosage form of Capsule in the Pharmaceutical Factory. Bolt, SMC Fruity and TasteMe in different variants are produced in Food Manufacturing Division (FMD).
The main source of power is from Rural Electrification Board (REB). Factory is equipped with three (3) Sub-stations linked with ten (10) numbers of Generators to cater the power supply during absence of power from REB. There exist different utilities systems like HVAC, Water and Compressed Air for ensuring smooth operation of the Factory. There are four (4) HVAC Plants in the entire Factory complexes in different locations having eight (8) numbers of Chillers. Power producing capacity from own source is 4.25 MW. There is a modern bio-chemical ETP to treat the waste water of the factory.
