Major General Mohammad Yousuf, Director General (DG) of Drug Administration paid a courtesy visit to SMC Head Office on September 20, 2023. Mr. Toslim Uddin Khan, Managing Director and CEO of SMC warmly welcomed Mr. Yousuf and delivered a comprehensive presentation on SMC's multifaceted activities. This presentation was followed by an open discussion where Mr. Khan answered various queries of the DG. 

Mr. Yousuf expressed his satisfaction upon receiving insights about SMC and its significant role in advancing the nation's health, family planning and nutrition objectives. He appreciated the management of both SMC and SMC EL for their unwavering dedication. Particularly, Mr. Yousuf addressed the importance of setting up SMC's independent pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. 

Furthermore, he assured his wholehearted support for SMC's upcoming endeavors, pledging to contribute his expertise and resources.
