SMC’s Dhaka West Area Office organized a school activation program on personal hygiene management and promoted ‘Taste Me’ as a refreshing drink. The program was held at Kaliakair Pilot Girls' High School in Kaliakair under Gazipur district on October 29, 2018. A total of 364 female students attended the program. It was an excellent platform to promote the use of sanitary napkins in general and Joya in particular as an essential part of menstrual hygiene management.
Mr. Shuvash Chandra Sarker, Head Teacher of Kaliakair Pilot Girls' High School, attended the function as the chief guest. At the end of the session, SMC offered ‘Taste Me’ drinks to all students along with a 200gm ‘Taste Me’ pack as a gift. The program was very successful and the girls were very happy to obtain knowledge about health and hygiene along with the TasteMe sample. Regional Manager, Dhaka, Mr. Chandra Nath Mandal and Sr. Sales Manager, Dhaka West Area Office, Mr. K M Hashibul Hassan discussed about SMC’s initiatives and contribution to the health and hygiene sector of the country. Among others, officials of SMC’s Dhaka West Area Office were present at the occasion.
