To celebrate the excitement of the FIFA World Cup 2026, Social Marketing Company (SMC), through its nutritious snack brand Moni Biscuit, partnered with Channel i to launch the month-long entertainment initiative "Moni Biscuit–Channel i World Cup." The campaign transformed Channel i's "i-Striker" arena at its Tejgaon office into a vibrant football-themed venue, offering visitors an engaging blend of sports, entertainment, and interactive activities while promoting healthy snacking.
The World Cup-themed epicenter, Moni Biscuit–Channel i World Cup Fun Zone, is brilliantly and beautifully decorated. The specialized television studio of Channel i has been transformed into a fully illuminated mini-stadium, interior featuring a pristine, lush green artificial football pitch set against a grand, sprawling backdrop of a packed stadium gallery. The venue is filled to the brim with interactive football-inspired installations, dynamic game zones, and colorful activations designed to bring the global craze of the World Cup closer to viewers than ever before. SMC Moni Biscuit being the title sponsor, reinforces its core corporate commitment to connecting with audiences through positive, memorable, and wholesome experiences that celebrate pure togetherness.
The World Cup-themed Fun Zone was officially inaugurated on 16 June 2026 in the presence of distinguished guests, including Mr. Nitai Roy Chowdhury, Honorable Cultural Affairs Minister; Mr. Aminul Haque, Honorable State Minister for Youth and Sports; Mr. Faridur Reza Sagar, Managing Director of Channel i; Mr. Shykh Seraj, Director and Head of News, Channel i; Mr. Toslim Uddin Khan, Managing Director & CEO of SMC; Mr. Moshiur Rahman, GM–Program Implementation; and Mr. Mohiuddin Ahmed, Additional General Manager, Program Marketing and Behaviour Change Communication (BCC), along with senior officials from both organizations. Throughout the campaign, the venue also welcomed Mr. Faruque Ahmed, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SMC and SMC EL, and Mr. Sayef Uddin Nasir, Managing Director of SMC EL.
The "i-Striker" arena became a major attraction throughout the tournament, hosting ministers, ambassadors, media personalities, celebrities, and football enthusiasts. Among the notable visitors were Dr. M. A. Muhib, State Minister for Health and Family Welfare; Mr. Nural Huq, State Minister for Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment; H. E. Mr Jean-Marc SERE-CHARLET, Ambassador of France to Bangladesh; H.E. Ms. Lalla Bouthaina El Kerdoudi El Koulali, Ambassador of Morocco to Bangladesh; H.E. Visitors enthusiastically participated in football challenges on the mini-pitch, adding excitement to the World Cup celebrations. Every participant received a complimentary pack of Moni Biscuit, while successful goal scorers were rewarded with one box each of Moni Biscuit Plus and Moni Biscuit. SMC also presented Moni Biscuit and Moni Biscuit Plus as commemorative gifts to the visiting ministers and ambassadors, who highly appreciated SMC's contribution to public health and commended the quality of its nutritious products.
