Mr. Toslim Uddin Khan, the Managing Director & CEO of SMC, made a visit to the Gazipur and Mymensingh areas to oversee the community mobilization (CM) and sales activities. On June 03, 2023, he visited the Mymensingh area office and engaged in discussions about the progress and challenges faced by the Sales and Pharma teams. He encouraged the team members to elevate their commitment levels and contribute to achieve the organization goal.

Later, Mr. Khan actively participated in the 'Performance Review and Planning Meeting' hosted by the CM team of SMC at Brac Learning Center, Mymensingh. Staff from 20 community mobilization Upazilas of Chandpur, Tangail, Jamalpur, Manikganj, Narsingdi, Kishoreganj, and Mymensingh districts attended the meeting. The primary objective was to review the progress made so far and identify implementation challenges in order to devise effective strategies for further improvements. The event was also graced by the presence of the Executive Director of CWFD and PSTC, the implementing partner organization of SMC. During the session, Mr. Khan facilitated a discussion on Antenatal Care (ANC) services introduced by a medical doctor for pregnant women. The ANC service availability through organizing group pregnant women gathering is affirming SMC's commitment to enhance ANC services in the CM areas.

Following this program, Mr. Khan, accompanied by other senior officials from SMC and SMC EL, visited the ORS Factory in Bhaluka and the SMC Plus Factory in Bhabanipur. During these visits, he met with the factory and plant officials, emphasizing the utmost importance of ensuring quality production and timely completion of the ongoing construction activities.
