SMC EL actively marked World ORS Day in 2023 by promoting its flagship brand, Orsaline-N, through prominent national print and electronic media. They complemented this effort with innovative social media campaigns and online promotional activities focused on the communication "Zero death from diarrheal dehydration". Diarrhea is caused by poor sanitation and hygiene, resulting in dehydration and depriving the body of water and electrolytes that are essential for survival. SMC's Orsaline-N is an inexpensive solution of glucose and electrolytes, prevents dehydration and saves thousands of lives every year.
